The original Aquapel is the most durable coating for car windows with an anti-rain effect.

It is not washed off in car washes when using various chemicals. Washing glass from a tank with winter concentrated alcohol-containing liquid also does not have any effect on Aquapel. Moreover, Aquapel cannot be washed off even with acetone.

If there is an urgent need to completely remove the Aquapel coating, the only way is to use an abrasive. Any polishes are suitable for this - for the body or specialized for glass. If they are unavailable, you can use household abrasive pastes for dishes.

The original Aquapel is erased from the windshield faster in winter during long and frequent trips on the highway, when a wet stream flies  splashes with a high content of salt and sand - a natural abrasive, and then all this is rubbed with wiper blades. But at the same time, salt does not in any way affect the quality of the Aquapel coating, since along the edges and on top of the windshield, where the wiper blades do not pass, the anti-rain effect remains. On the side and rear windows, if they are not rubbed with “winter abrasive”, the anti-rain also retains its properties for a long time.

In turn, Chinese fakes of Aquapel are easily washed off not only with acetone, but even with household glass cleaning chemicals based on a small amount of alcohol.
